We are so glad you are attending!
First, thank-you from the bottom of our hearts for being willing to support this cause! Without each of you, there would be no Crop for a Cure and no donation to the cancer charities we support. We do strive to produce a professional event, but please remember this is an ALL volunteer endeavor. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to visit "Command Central" and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you have a Covid-19 Policy?
Masks are optional for those who are vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please wear a mask. We are not the Mask Police, but we do wish to keep everyone safe and healthy, and can only do that with everyone's cooperation. Thank you in advance!
How early can I get in?
The crop doors will open at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 4.
How much cropping space will I have?
Every scrapper will have a chair and your own table space about 6-8 feet wide by about 30-36 inches deep. We work hard to make sure the aisles are wide enough to permit you to push your chair back without hitting one another! Due to space limitations, we can not permit side tables or carts/totes in the aisles or between tables. The only space you will have is on your table, under your table and your chair. Keep in mind we will have awesome vendors who can supply you with lots that you may have forgotten! You might also check our tools table to see what equipment other scrappers are sharing. Please keep this in mind when packing. We will ask you to remove items that may encroach on the aisle space.
NOTE: Depending on our attendance, we may offer additional space for sale. Keep an eye on this space for announcements about that closer to the end of April.
Will I have access to electricity?
We will do our best to provide electricity throughout the room. If you need electricity, please bring an extension cord and perhaps a multi-plug power strip for your table. Do not forget your duct tape to tape your cords down! We cannot allow loose cords to cross any of the aisles.
Will there be internet access?
Yes, connection information will be available the day of the event.
What tools and equipment are available for us to use?
There will be a computer and printer available for your printing needs. In addition, there may be a Cricut set up for you to share. Please bring your own Cricut mat, and cartridges. We do have some cartridges that you may use.
We have a tradition at Crop for a Cure where a number of scrappers share their equipment and tools with the crop attendees for the duration of the event. Anyone who wishes to do so is welcome to place your items on the tool table. Please make sure your name is on your shared tools and equipment. If you use any of the shared items, please treat them with care and return them promptly to the table (or use them there).
What about food and drink?
First, please be very careful with food and drink in the crop room. We ask you to only have covered containers of liquids at the crop tables in order to protect everyone's precious photos and hard work. Check with the vendors (click here to see our vendors) for cup holders that attach to tables for convenient solutions without risking spills! We will have ice water available in the crop room.
Meals are scheduled as indicated on the Meals page (link to be provided). Your crop fee includes a light continental breakfast, a hot meal and snacks.
Alcohol Policy: Butter Valley Community Church has a no alcohol policy. Thank you for your cooperation.
Interested in grabbing a snack or meal outside of the crop? Check out local shops and restaurants here! (Link to be provided). Please patronize our vendors, they work hard to help us make our crop a success!
